Gradually Derek became interested in the question of God… He was a committed atheist for decades, but various facts challenged his worldview.  Unable to dismiss what he had uncovered, he set out to answer the question of whether or not belief in God could actually be supported by factual evidence. After years of investigation and upon discovering his answer, he set out to write about his findings following the same simple style his other national-bestselling books had been written in. When Derek is not writing, he spends his time with his wife and eight kids – and that keeps him busy.
